Ravello hotels and B&BsRavello is a destination with an exclusive air, and it certainly boasts more than its share of impressive luxury hotels. But there is a reasonable range of hotels and B&Bs in Ravello, and some offer prices which are fairly good value (for the expensive Amalfi Coast, anyway). The atmosphere is quieter than that the seaside resorts below, and some of the accommodation we've listed is outside town, so we'd suggest you read other guests' reports (available on the booking pages) carefully to decide if the hotel or B&B will suit you. Our selection of accommodation
Hotel Marmorata ****The Marmorata is not actually situated in the village of Ravello, but on the coast below. The four-star Best Western hotel is housed in a former paper-mill built on the rocks right by the sea. The comfortable rooms have sea-views and all sorts of amenities including internet access. It is rather isolated if you don't have a car (although there are buses), but is a good spot to spend a relaxing and peaceful holiday, enjoying the outdoors pool and sea views.
Hotel Rufolo ****A comfortable and smart option right in Ravello, the Hotel Rufolo is close to the famous Villa Rufolo, where summer concerts are held. There are a range of room types at different prices, some with sea view and some without. The hotel has a swimming pool and terrace; its views are those which make the Amalfi Coast so famous.
Hotel Graal ****
The best features of the Hotel Graal are its location - close to the centre of Ravello, with great panoramic views - and its outdoor swimming pool. Otherwise it is a decent place to stay, without being the most special of four-star hotels. Prices are generally quite reasonable, given the location.
Hotel Bonadies ****Hotel Bonadies is a nice smart four-star with a long history. It has a sun terrace, a swimming pool and views of the coastline far below. The hotel offers half-board options, but these are best avoided - there are better restaurants in Ravello.
Punta Civita B&BAlthough it's not as cheap as a typical B&B, the Punta Civita is also more elegant than most. It is located on the road between Amalfi and Ravello, with some good opportunities for walking (if you're fit and don't mind the steps which are inevitable on this coast). There are just three rooms, with terraces and sea views. Their webpages state no guests under 12, so it would be a good place for a quiet romantic stay.
Giardino dei Limoni B&B
The 'Garden of Lemons' B&B is located outside Ravello in a spot that some guests find idyllic and others inconvenient. It's best for guests who are driving, though you must still be prepared for steps between the road and the buildings. The B&B offers accommodation in fairly simple studio apartments (some with sofa-beds) with cooking facilities and panoramic terraces. It's a good cheap option if the location suits you. > Full Amalfi Coast accommodation search |
